Carpe Momentum is the collaboration between Eva Bertilsson and Emelie Johnson Vegh.
Eva and Emelie have been developing training strategies together since they met at the agility fields in 1998. Together they’ve produced countless articles, workshops and seminars in both Swedish and English. They teach together as often as they can – nowadays mostly online and at international events such as Clicker Expo, where they’re rightfully known as “the shared brain”…
E&E are known for concepts such as seamless training sessions and startbutton behaviors, concepts stemming from their thorough, detail-oriented approach to behavior and training. Drawing flowcharts for training sessions, working from one reward to the next and stepping into the focus bubble are some other Carpe Momentum specialities – along with Swedish Fika, of course! E&E are committed to creating the best possible learning environments for humans and non-humans alike, and are longstanding TAGteach faculty members.
Cool fact: In 2005, E&E got an e-mail from Karen Pryor asking if they would please write a book for her publishing house, on how to apply best-practice clicker training principles for dog agility? This is why Agility Right From The Start is written in English, not in Swedish… and was the starting point for E&E’s international presence.
